We are thrilled to announce the following eight donors who have contributed to the Connect Campaign to build a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek. These donations have brought us up to $1,960,000 raised and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks to their support we are well on our way to our next major milestone of $2,000,000! Who will be the donor to help us to get there?
A big virtual standing ovation to the following donors:
- Santorelli Family, Trisan Construction $50,000
- CleanRiver Recycling Solutions $25,000
- K Winter Sanitation $25,000
- Signature Communities $25,000
- Bazil Developments $40,000
- Chairman’s Golf Tournament $170,000 (plus more donations expected!). Donations from the golf tournament include:
- Upper Unionville Inc. $25,000
- Major Kennedy South $25,000
We recently spoke with Angelo Santorelli from Trisan Construction and he shared the motivation behind his generous gift.
“Trisan Construction is a local construction company based in Schomberg since 2001 and it has successfully grown from one small crew to over 100 employees. Trisan has always strived to give back to the community it serves and this project warrants its generous support. My wife Yvette and I are grandparents to 13 beautiful children who love the outdoors and many live close to Scanlon Creek where the new Nature Centre is being built. We are proud to support the new Nature Centre to help our children, grandchildren and the community get outside to learn more about and appreciate nature. I encourage others to do the same!”
Thank you to Angelo and all of our generous donors. We could not do it without the support we receive from each and every one of you!
